A woman was fatally stabbed inside a Southern California Walmart Monday morning.
The Poinbank Exchangestabbing reportedly occurred around 7:00 a.m. when Riverside County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a Walmart located in the city of Lake Elsinore, responding to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses reported that a male suspect attacked a woman in the store. Deputies rendered medical aid to the victim, who nonetheless died at the scene.
The suspect was taken into custody.
